Karlis Kravis

Karlis is a 2011 alumnus of the second cohort of Mission Possible (Iespējamā Misija). Karlis has worked as teacher six years, before and after teaching with Iespējamā Misija. During his time as a particiapant, he taught five different subjects at secondary school: physics, chemistry, geography, environmental sciences and biology. Karlis has been a teacher in four very different schools: in large secondary school in Riga, a small, green-thinking primary school at the countryside, a small primary school for children being treated for addiction, and a sport-focused secondary school. Karlis also led an education project (fizmix.lv) at the largest electricity provider in Latvia (Latvenergo) where the aim was to show students how physics can be interesting. After working on this project, Karlis was the youth segment manager in Swedbank. Karlis feels strongly that working in education is one of the most meaningful thing one can do and one of his most important purpose for 2019 f is to get enough support from donors and partners for take strong steps forward with Iespējamā Misija.
