Nayla holds an engineering degree from McGill University and an MBA from HEC and has more than 20 years of experience in diverse organizations (private sector and not for profit) working on transformation and development.
She started her career at Monitor Company, a strategy consultancy firm. She then joined an SME under LBO as director of marketing and development and was involved in mergers and acquisitions, integrating purchased companies into the newly formed group. In 2008, she joined Le Groupe La Poste where she handled the development of new digital services and the deployment of modernization programs for the distribution of mail and parcels.
In 2015, Nayla shifted to NGO sector and joined the Institut Européen de Cooperation et de Development (IECD). For four years, she held the position of director of Lebanon, where she managed, among other things, collaboration with the Ministries of Education, Social Affairs and Industry, support for technical schools, and programs for the employment of vulnerable youth – both refugees and Lebanese.
In 2019, at the headquarters of the IECD in Paris, she became director of programs in charge of the impact and the support to the field activities in 14 countries. She covered all topics of intervention of the NGO namely: education, vocational training, employability of vulnerable youth, and support to entrepreneurship.
