In August, the New Zealand Council for Educational Research (NZCER) released its third annual evaluation report of the Teach First NZ program, delivered in partnership with the University of Auckland, which builds on the successes highlighted in the two previous annual reports.
The report confirms that Teach First NZ program continues to be effectively and efficiently implemented and was described as “being strengthened as it continues to develop” from year to year. Some of the key strengths NZCER noted were “the selection processes; the quality, resilience and commitment of participants; the responsiveness of Teach First NZ and the University of Auckland Faculty to all feedback and their ability to make changes and improvements as required; and the willingness of schools to embrace the program.”
The NZCER is an independent, educational research organization that provides educators, students, parents, policymakers, and the public with innovative and independent research, analysis, and advice on education.
Teach For All congratulates Teach First NZ on its continued efforts, success, and commitment to developing outstanding leaders who are expanding educational opportunity for all children.
