HundrED has launched a new Spotlight Project in partnership with the Jacobs Foundation that aims to identify innovations that help teachers better assess students’ learning.

The Formative Assessment: Improving Learning for Every Child Spotlight is a multi-phase project calling for innovations and initiatives that are helping to transform assessment approaches for improved learning outcomes for each student.

Examples of solutions include but are not limited to:

  • Approaches that address individual learning needs through adaptive teaching, differentiated instruction, remedial education
  • Offline, hybrid, blended approaches that formatively assess and adapt teaching (difficulty, speed, tools) to the individual learner levels and needs
  • Personalized pathways, effective feedback, effective classroom use of adaptive learning EdTech tools or data-driven school management practices focusing on learner variability
  • Solutions in K12 education as a whole but even more especially interested in the K6 (2-12 years) context

Submit your innovations here by November 12th.

If you have any questions about the Spotlight, you can contact hundrED’s Research Team at research@hundred.org
