Inspired by the Teach For All network’s shared approach and its success around the world, CEO and Co-founder Rimma El Joueidi and her fellow co-founders developed and launched Teach For Ukraine to improve the quality of school education and foster a generation of new leaders committed to improving their country.
Rimma has been working in management consulting for more than four years, advising leading private companies as well as state institutions on strategy development and efficient operations management. Previously, she worked in an MP’s office in the Canadian Parliament where she broadened her horizons and contributed to solving various public administration issues. As a student, Rimma was a finalist in the Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX), which offered the opportunity to study in American high school and gain an understanding of another education system.
Rimma believes that education has great power to unlock potential, change lives, and inspire positive transformations in the world. She hopes that Teach For Ukraine will attract many young, talented, and motivated leaders into classrooms where they will expand educational opportunities for Ukrainian children, and have a significant impact in shaping their future as well as the future of the country.
