Victor is a recognized educator with 12 years of experience in the public and private sector, and at different levels of education from pre-primary to higher education, specializing in science and math. He has represented Guatemala in International Mathematics Olympiads.

In terms of his academic background, Victor holds a degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics and Physics, a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics Education; another bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics; and a master's degree in Educational Planning and Management.

He has extensive experience in educational curricula, implementing several of them contextualized to different regions of Guatemala, and also has extensive experience in gender equity in education, having previously worked for an organization focused on the education of indigenous women.

In 2022, he assumed the role of CEO at Enseña por Guatemala, beginning with the legal incorporation of the organization as well as establishing the strong foundations to ensure the successful launch and future scale of the organization.
