Christian spent over 20 years in leadership roles across NGOs, businesses, and agencies in Europe, the USA and Australia, including positions at Green America and Sonnentor, and serving most recently as the spokesperson for the Austrian Climate Referendum (Klimavolksbegehren), forging broad alliances with both civil society and business players. Christian holds a Masters in Communications and Management and is an Ashoka Visionary Program alumni. Having navigated the education system himself as a working-class child under challenging conditions, he developed a profound conviction that a high-quality education is a fundamental right for every child. Driven by this passion for systems impact, he is dedicated to implementing innovative, unconventional, and impactful solutions to advance educational equity in Austria. He lives in Vienna with his wife and two sons.
