Jesper is a former member of the Social Democrat party and most recently held the position of Youth Mayor of Copenhagen. His working life has revolved around supporting vulnerable children and young people; he has been a teaching assistant in the youth club in Tingbjerg (where he also grew up), and was also active in Denmark's public housing movement and a committed member of the 'citizen's representation.'
