
Edwina Dohle
Edwina Dohle is the CEO of Teach For Australia. A former teacher and an experienced leader of systemic education reform, Edwina brings unparalleled expertise to the mission of advancing educational equity.
Taking over from Founder-CEO Melodie Potts Rosevear in May 2025, Edwina has had a long and productive relationship with Teach For Australia since its very beginning. She started her career in a classroom that needed her as part of its inaugural 2010 cohort of its Leadership Development Program in Victoria.
Since then, she has held influential senior positions across the Australian Public Service, including positions driving systemic education and social reform across the departments of Education, Social Services, the Treasury and Prime Minister and Cabinet.
In 2023, Edwina joined the Teach For Australia Board, helping to shape the organisation’s strategic direction, ensure sustainability and deepen its impact.
Edwina holds a Master of Teaching (Secondary), a Postgraduate Diploma of Teaching through Teach For Australia and a Bachelor of Arts/Laws (Honours), all from the University of Melbourne.
Edwina is an avid hiker, most recently summiting Mt Kilimanjaro.
