Nouredine Abdoulaye
Nouredine Abdoulaye, a dynamic social entrepreneur and passionate advocate for education reform, hails from Tahoua, in Niger's central region. His educational journey began in Zinder, where he attended primary school, and later continued in Niamey, Niger's capital, for high school.
Nouredine graduated in 2020 from Academic City College in Accra, Ghana, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resource Management. During his studies, he served as Chairman of the Electoral Committee of the Nigeriens Legal Association of Students and Trainees. Post-graduation, he obtained several professional certifications in human resources and entrepreneurship, further enhancing his skills. While in university, Nouredine engaged in volunteer work during school breaks, teaching English and entrepreneurship in underserved communities in Zinder. These experiences deepened his understanding of social and educational inequities and fueled his commitment to education as a tool to combat poverty, corruption, and insecurity.
In 2018, Nouredine launched his professional career as an HR Officer at R&J Group, where he successfully implemented cross-functional training programs, optimized HR processes, and supported employee development, among other responsibilities.
Since February 2022, Nouredine has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Teach For Niger. His innovative, community-driven approach has attracted diverse stakeholders and supporters, including local community and religious leaders, parents, and government entities. As a member of the cluster education's retrained task force and the newly elected co-leader of the thematic “safe school” group, Nouredine has played a vital role in addressing educational challenges during crises to ensure access to learning opportunities for vulnerable populations.
