Simon Geerinck began his career as a consultant before joining Teach for Belgium in January 2021. He contributed to the launch of the NEST Erasmus+ project and soon enrolled in the Teach for Belgium program in the summer of 2021. He then taught mathematics at a Dutch-speaking secondary school in Brussels. In 2023, he became Head of Fundraising at Teach for Belgium, and in February 2025, he will assume the role of CEO, succeeding Caroline de Cartier.

With a background in strategy and leadership, Simon brings both his professional experience and dedication to educational equity to his new position. In his free time, he enjoys running and cycling.
