Teach For India

On June 28, representatives of Teach For India and Teach For All’s global organization joined education advocates from around the world at the United Nations headquarters for a High-level Sustainable Development Goals Action Event on Education convened by the Office of the President of the General Assembly.

On March 8, Teach For All moderated a panel discussion featuring representatives from network partners Teach For India and Enseña Chile at the Comparative and International Education Society Conference (CIES) in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference gathered leading authorities in education, including researchers, practitioners, and policymakers, to discuss the problem of inequality.  

The final day of the 2016 Teach For All Global Conference began with the event’s annual “Network Breakthroughs” session, featuring innovations that were successfully pioneered by network partners this year.

On this International Day of the Girl, we're celebrating the determination and potential of girls everywhere to envision a more just and equitable world. In the video above, Kusum, a Teach For India student, describes the vision she has for her community—everyone working together and every child receiving an excellent education. To realize this, "I need everyone's help," Kusum says. "We all have to work together and work on that vision." 

We are excited to announce the student leaders from across the Teach For All network who have been chosen to present their projects at Teach For All’s annual Global Conference in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria in October.

Teach For All and Deutsche Post DHL Group have extended their partnership for an additional three years, reaffirming their commitment to ensuring  all children have the opportunity to attain an excellent education, regardless of background or economic status.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of International Literacy Day, we’re celebrating the wisdom, courage, and sense of possibility of student leaders across the Teach For All network, who are taking action to improve and promote literacy in their schools and communities.

We’re excited to announce a new partnership with the IKEA Foundation focused on expanding educational opportunities for children in India and Bangladesh.
