Anwar Mohamad Abu Ammash

Anwar holds a master’s degree in computer science from Al-Quds University and an education diploma from the Educational Development Institute at UNRWA. He worked as a programmer for two years at Arab Computer Company. He then moved to the education field, working at the UNRWA Ramallah Women’s training center for 13 years. He started as a computer technical instructor, later became computer department senior instructor, and finally became the Deputy Director for the vocational division. After that, he moved to work in the NGO sector, joining Taawon (Welfare Association), where he worked for 17 years. He started as Research Coordinator, then became the manager of the Program Support Unit. Finally, he became the Education Program Manager for about six years. His work at Taawon focused on preparing the education program strategic plan, developing related indicators and annual financial and technical implementation plans, as well as overseeing project implementation and liaising with donors to secure funding for the program.
