Umida Yuldosheva, the Co-founder & CEO of Teach for Uzbekistan, is a passionate advocate for social justice and a dedicated leader in the field of education. 

 

A graduate of the Tashkent Institute of Finance, she holds a John Smith Programme Fellowship. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Sociology, focusing on developing social entrepreneurship in Uzbek communities. 

 

Drawing on her extensive experience as a guest researcher at the Christian Michelsen Research Institute in Norway, and her career in teaching, the NGO sector, ESG consultancy, and ESM for World Bank projects, Umida leads Teach for Uzbekistan in its mission to empower young people and create a more equitable future.
