We are excited to announce the student leaders from across the Teach For All network who have been chosen to present their projects at Teach For All’s annual Global Conference in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria in October.
Seven projects led by alumni from across the network were selected for an eight-week Teach For All/Co.Creator accelerator program for entrepreneurs launching or operating social enterprises. The alumni and their organizations were chosen for their innovative approaches to expanding educational opportunity in their countries.
At the core of Teach For All’s global approach is our deeply held belief that the exchanging of successful ideas, innovations, and practices across country lines accelerates our partners’ individual and collective progress toward the network's shared vision of expanded educational opportunity for all children.
From February 3rd-7th 2016, representatives from across the Teach For All network gathered in Washington D.C. to explore together the importance of context and collective action—between individuals, communities, or organizations—in the pursuit of sustainable change.
From February 5-7, more than 15,000 people came together in Washington D.C. to celebrate and reflect on Teach For America’s quarter century of progress, learning, and continued commitment to ensuring all children have the opportunity to attain an excellent education. Among the 15,000 were alumni, corps members, current and former staff, community members, education and policy sector partners, and more than 200 attendees representing over 40 countries from across the Teach For All community.
This week, Forbes magazine recognized Anseye Pou Ayiti (Teach For Haiti) CEO, Nedgine Paul, in its annual 30 Under 30 list of young professionals making their mark across a variety of sectors.
For a quarter century, Teach For America has been working alongside educators, community leaders, policymakers and many others to end educational inequity in the United States. Throughout these 25 years, TFA has evolved and grown, but its fundamental vision—that systemic change can be achieved by channeling the commitment and talent of its most promising leaders into classrooms today, grounding and inspiring them to go on to fight for change through leadership in every field tomorrow—remains unchanged.
Teach For All network partners share the longterm goal of developing leaders who will positively impact their countries’ classrooms, schools, and, ultimately, education systems. To inform this work, we look to the world’s highest performing systems to understand what drives their success.
