In partnership with The Winterhouse Institute, Teach For All announced the winners of the the William Drenttel Award for Excellence in Design at our Global Conference last week in in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria.
Like many people who support students with diverse needs, I have a personal connection that fuels my passion. Growing up, a close relative was labeled a “special education” student with a social disability. He had difficulty interacting with others and was thus removed from mainstream classes and placed in special education classes that were supposed to provide him with more support.
Last month, Teach For All CEO Wendy Kopp joined Credit Suisse employees in Hong Kong to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Credit Suisse’s Global Citizens Program. It was also an opportunity to highlight the many ways in which Teach For All and its network partners around the world have benefitted from our partnership with Credit Suisse.
This month saw the launch of the Teach For All-Oak Foundation Learning Differences Fellowship, an intitiative designed to ensure that all educators across the network have the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to hold all students to high expectations and support them in reaching their full potential.
