Pioneering climate education can sometimes feel like a solitary journey that can leave educators feeling isolated. What is often needed is a community. The Climate Education Action Summit held in Rome in July aimed to bring together educators and staff members from the Europe Region to Connect, Learn, and Take Action for climate education.

The Summit was structured to help these climate educators bond over their WHY for climate education, learn from their different contexts, and together in Think Tank sessions come up with concrete action their organizations can take to incorporate climate education into their core work areas. This event was a pilot for future Summits in each of our network’s five regions —follow us for more information in the coming months about our next one!
