The Day 2 Assembly featured a conversation between 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai and 11-year old Teach For Nigeria student Chidinma Oraegbunam in which Malala shared her thoughts on pressing issues such as the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on disadvantaged students—especially girls—around the world, and the new possibilities she sees for ensuring equity and opportunity in education for all.
