Teach For All and Canva Africa partner to expand access to digital skills and design tools to Teach For All network partners
Teach For All and Canva Africa have entered into a new partnership to help expand access to digital design tools, practical skills-building, and creative capacity for partners in the Teach For All network’s Africa region.
Through the partnership, eligible network organizations and educators will be able to access Canva Africa’s offerings for education and nonprofits, in line with Canva’s existing program eligibility requirements. The collaboration will also include capacity-building support to help these organizations and their educators use Canva effectively in their day-to-day work, from teaching and learning materials to storytelling, communications, and community engagement.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to equipping educators and mission-driven organizations with practical tools that can support learning, creativity, and impact.
The collaboration is expected to support a wide range of use cases for network partners across the region, including classroom content creation, presentations, reports, visual storytelling, digital portfolios, advocacy materials, and design support for educators and nonprofit teams.
“Across our network, educators and partners are constantly looking for practical tools that can help them communicate more effectively, engage learners, and strengthen their work in communities. This partnership with Canva Africa creates new opportunities for network organizations in our Africa region to build those skills and expand access to high-quality design tools in ways that are useful, accessible, and relevant.” — Amanda Chembezi, Head of Region - Africa, Teach For All
“At Canva, we believe design and digital communication skills are essential for opportunity, learning, and impact. We’re excited to partner with Teach For All to help eligible organisations and educators access Canva’s tools and build practical skills that can support both teaching, learning outcomes and community-driven work.” — Bianca Sibiya, Canva Africa Lead
The partnership will initially focus on activation and capacity building, with both Canva Africa and Teach For All working together to support uptake, training, and practical application for eligible network partners.
