In a year like no other, it's fitting that the 2020 Teach For All Global Conference was also full of firsts—the first time the conference was held completely online; the first time we were able to welcome our entire global community of staff, teachers, alumni, students, and allies from across the network; the first time sessions were offered in every time zone; and the first time thousands (over 2,300 to be exact) of members of our community came together to deepen our understanding of the inequities our network is working to address, and reflect on new possibilities for accelerating progress toward the future we envision.

In addition to dozens of educators and innovators from the 58 Teach For All partner organizations, we were joined by thought leaders from beyond the network, including 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai in conversation with a Teach For Nigeria student, and Director of Education and Skills at the OECD Andreas Schleicher, who participated in an open discussion about the just-released 2018 PISA global competency results.
