UniCredit Foundation and Teach For All aim to unlock opportunities for students through the 2025 EduAction campaign

UniCredit Foundation and Teach For All recently concluded their third annual EduAction Week collaboration, a two-week campaign aimed at unlocking new opportunities for students across Europe through support from UniCredit volunteers.
From March 31 to April 11, 2025, EduAction Week brought together UniCredit employees and Teach For All network partners in Europe, including Teach For Austria, Teach For Bulgaria, Teach First Deutschland, Teach For Italy, Teach For Romania, and Teach For Slovakia, to offer more than 50 coordinated local and regional activities which engaged over 900 students. Career guidance sessions, financial literacy workshops, classroom innovation, and mentorship experiences were among the activities, each designed to inspire and support young people, in their education or their ambitions in the world of work.
The campaign started with a powerful online panel discussion featuring educators, Teach For All network partners, and Professor Asim Ijaz Khwaja from the Harvard Center for International Development. The 90-minute webinar explored how holistic, community-centered approaches can drive lasting change in education systems.
“EduAction exemplifies what’s possible when businesses, educators, and communities come together with a shared mission,” said Margherita Freccia, Head of Group Digital Processes, Controls & Regulatory at UniCredit who volunteered during EduAction Week. “These students reminded me of the power of stories and of our responsibility to be a positive influence in someone’s journey.”
Highlights from EduAction 2025 include:
- Italy: Students participated in job shadowing at UniCredit Tower, career talks, and resume and interview prep workshops.
- Romania: A Kids Go Finance event at UniCredit Bank Bucharest offered hands-on learning in finance and cybersecurity.
- Germany: Teach First Deutschland offered financial education workshops for children.
- Austria: Students toured UniCredit Campus and took part in sessions on cyber security, working in a bank, and urban development.
- Slovakia: Financial education workshops reached students in 13 schools, with mentoring from UniCredit leaders.
