This year, we are excited to recognize UniCredit Foundation as the recipient’s of Teach For All’s annual Tiger Award. Created in 2014, and named in honor of its inaugural recipient, Julian Robertson, the Tiger Award recognizes invaluable champions of Teach For All’s work whose support enables the network’s progress locally and globally. The award represents our deep gratitude for Unicredit Foundation’s support of our global organization and network partners to enhance the quality of education in underserved schools across Europe and advocate for educational equity throughout the continent, ensuring all children have the opportunity to fulfill their potential.

Since our partnership began last year, the support of UniCredit Foundation has enabled network partners in Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, and Slovakia to recruit and train 945 fellows to teach in schools in their nations’ under-resourced communities, impacting over 54,000 students. This year alone, through innovative initiatives like EduAction Week, UniCredit Foundation mobilized volunteers for over 50 activities, directly benefiting more than 900 students by supporting them to develop the skills they’ll need to thrive in a changing and challenging world.

In the years to come, we look forward to continuing to deepen and scale the progress Unicredit Foundation’s support has enabled across Europe by launching a community impact partnership focused on communities in Austria, Italy, and Romania where Teach For all network partners have laid the foundations for impact in collaboration with community members. Through targeted investment in these communities, UniCredit Foundation will play a direct role by investing in developing collective leadership by convening stakeholders across the ecosystem to build a shared vision for system change.
