2025 Inclusive Education Fellowship
Applications are open until June 23!
The Inclusive Education Fellowship is an opportunity for teachers and teacher coaches who are
interested in deepening their inclusive practices collectively with other educators. During the course,
each participant will explore who learners are and how they learn via content related to the research-based practices of Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy, Universal Design for Learning, and Metacognition. Participants will also explore Action Research and
brainstorm projects that they would like to do to support more inclusive practices—specifically to
support learners with disabilities and learning differences.
Each Fellow will be responsible for planning, implementing, and publishing
their action research project and facilitating a learning session (virtually) related to their
project/learning on Inclusive Education and supporting learners with disabilities and learning
differences.

The Academy offers an annual program of courses, workshops, and fellowships designed to engage hundreds of diverse local leaders in learning and development experiences to expand their capacity to transform classrooms, schools, and communities through collective leadership.
Academy opportunities encourage participants to reflect on their roles, challenge their thinking, and push beyond their current knowledge. These experiences are designed to help participants achieve something meaningful and feel connected to a greater purpose.
